Version 1.2 — effective October 5, 2026.
These Terms govern the use of the CallGuard application provided by Piza Tecnologia. By accepting these Terms and using the application, the user confirms that they have read and understood these conditions.
1. Purpose
CallGuard helps the user reject incoming calls from numbers that are neither saved in the device contacts nor included in the local allowed-numbers list. Operation depends on permissions and APIs provided by the operating system.
2. Risk of blocking legitimate calls
By enabling protection, the user acknowledges that legitimate calls from hospitals, schools, delivery drivers, public services, businesses, relatives using another number, and emergency callbacks may be blocked. The user is responsible for keeping contacts and exceptions current and reviewing the local block history.
3. License and platform
Each license provides one protection slot for one active device. Restoration or transfer is allowed between devices on the same platform and linked to the same store account: Android to Android through Google Play and iPhone to iPhone through the App Store. Licenses do not transfer between Android and iPhone; the other platform requires a new purchase.
Transferring to a new device disables the previous device after its next synchronization or when its temporary local authorization expires. Reinstallation or changing devices does not restart trial periods.
4. Subscriptions and trial
The optional free trial lasts 72 hours from activation and is issued by the CallGuard server once per eligible device. It requires no payment method, creates no subscription, has no automatic charge, and does not restart after expiry or reinstallation. Users may purchase a license before, during, or after the trial.
In the current Android version, new monthly and annual purchases do not include a second free trial. Google Play displays and processes prices, currencies, initial charges, and renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in the store; the lifetime license is a one-time purchase. Subscriptions purchased under previous offers keep the terms presented by the store, including any trial followed by automatic billing. CallGuard does not receive or store payment card details.
5. Availability
The application depends on device compatibility, the call-screening role, contacts access, and store rules. No system is infallible. Updates from Android, iOS, manufacturers, or carriers may change or limit operation.
6. Proper use
The user may not tamper with the application, bypass licenses, share administrative credentials, exploit vulnerabilities, or use the service unlawfully. Fraudulently obtained or used licenses may be revoked.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellations and refund requests are managed by the store where the purchase was made and follow the applicable rules, time limits, and rights for that platform and jurisdiction.
8. Privacy
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy. Contacts, incoming numbers, and blocked-call history remain on the device and are not sent to the CallGuard server.
9. Changes
Material changes to these Terms will be published as a new version. The application may request acceptance again before continued use.
10. Contact
